Description:

The goal of the Pollis is to create the new newspaper. Someone signs up and they can subscribe (like Twitter) to as many blogs as they want to. They personalize their news and then it all appears in one place on their Pollis homepage. Bloggers can sign up and create a profile page for their blog. They can share their updates with their community and use them to to gain new subscribers. To find a blog's profile page, you need to go to the catalog which is ordered by the entire community. On every user's profile page they can rank their 10 favorite blogs. They can also rate blogs 1-5 stars on the blog's profile pages (1 vote per user). The more high rankings you get, the higher you appear in the catalog.
