Make world a better place - One Error At a Time. There are millions of website error pages that are thrown out every day on the internet. What if you can recycle those error pages and put them to a better use? You can do that now with www.prouderrors.org. The ProudErrors project, www.prouderrors.org is a conscious initiative by a Ruby on Rails development shop - www.idyllic-software.com in collaboration with Global Giving - www.globalgiving.org. The project provides a easy code snippet with which you can replace your website error pages such as 404 and 500 to display a global cause. The project provides the flexibility to chose the category of the cause the website owner wants to support. Presently it is supporting more than 2000 causes. Though just a weekend project, it has the potential to spread awareness on several causes and help raise funds for them. Making the world a better place - one error at at time.
