My aim is simple: To create the best place to get news. Pressrate is currently in beta. It pulls articles from a growing list of large and popular news sources. Once a new article is pulled and our system identifies a new journalist/article author, it creates a profile page for them. As you can see here, http://www.pressrate.com/beta/journalist.php?a_id=9300 All headlines can be clicked and when article page is opened it remains within our Pressrate frame. Example: http://www.pressrate.com/n/massive-blast-destroys-us-homes-470684 Crowd sourced voting, categorization, and rating of articles or headlines, affecting overall rating of article authors/journalists and news sources where said journalists are employed. Crowd sourced voting system to "vote up" a particular news story/headline from any of the growing list of news sources we scrape. Effectively moving it up in the list to the front page, allowing the internet community at large to create their own "newspapers front page".
