sizzlepig is a digital production tool that allows immediate visual control, of every pixel, in batch image resizing. We created sizzlepig because we had a real problem. Manually resizing images for a whole site took too much time and scripts and tools didn't always produce results that met our design standards. We wanted to spend more time on design and less on production. And we care about every pixel. The beta sign up is now live. The beta site is expected to launch in 3 weeks. Here are some of the capabilities of sizzlepig: Image sizing Batch to batch - upload unlimited images for unlimited resizes. Set up a blueprint for all of your resizes in one place, with different compressions for each size. Set your crop and scale by size and then fine-tune resized images, in real time. Change the compression of all images in a series with one step. Add a new size to a set of images and sizzlepig will automatically process, name and save to Dropbox. Fine Tuning / Cropping Nothing else allows you to adjust, on the fly, the crop and scale of any image that you've already processed - and do so in the cloud. No need to wait until the end of a batch process to review - saving time - saving rework, ensuring quality and intended results. Crop and scale tweaks are retained for each individual image. Retouches? Replace the original file with the retouched image and every setting and adjustment you made to the original is applied to the retouched file. Integration with Dropbox Accessible from anywhere, easy to share with large groups of people outside of an office network, available on any device. Visual Control Completely visual tool - not actionscript based. Can see your edits in real-time. Designers can now create different aspect ratios for a set of thumbnails without having to do a ton of extra work. File Management Consistent file names for the development team. Change the naming conventions of files with one click. Quickly audit images/names/edits/version.
